You Wanna Pisa Me? Wise Guy Burger at Red Robin

The limited time only Wise Guy Burger at
Red Robin. Savory seasoned burger, spicy pepperoni, zesty marinara, cheesy mozzarella sticks, and tangy banana peppers…how could I resist?

Hubby Kris tried the limited time only Chicken Caprese burger, charbroiled chicken breast, balsamic-marinated tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, romaine lettuce, and pesto aioli on ciabatta bread:

My parents split a Sauteed 'Shroom Burger (mushrooms, swiss cheese, garlic parmesan butter):

Signature ‘bottomless' steak fries accompanied every burger. Check out this giant mutant fry:

And a visit to Red Robin is not complete without an order of Towering Onion Rings (oink!):

You wanna pisa this? The Wise Guy Burger and the Chicken Caprese Burger are available at all U.S.
Red Robin locations until November 8, 2009.
(Canadian locations are not offering these specialty burgers at this time)

I wonder how big the potato could be when it's in its original form. I've definitely never seen such a piece of giant fry before!!

So you've gone to eat burgers!! HAHAHAHAHA

I haven't been to red robin in ages. And there's one near me, too. I'll have to plan a visit to try out that wise guy burger. I like the idea of mozzarella sticks in my burger.

Now you see, that tower of onion rings seems to be taunting me lol, i can hear it saying, "no, you cant eat of all us can you?" and it just beckons me to gobble it down. All those sandwiches look so good. I am going to check out their website now.
p.s. going to consider adding mozzerella sticks to a sandwich. thats inspired

Kenny: I know, it really must have been some giant potato! And yes, my family is a fan of burgers, so I'll be eating a lot more of them during their visit (hope I'm not torturing you with all these photos of beef!)

5 Star Foodie: So COOL - I've never met the Red Robin before!

Jenn: This is actually my 2nd sandwich with mozzarella sticks in it, the 1st was the 'Phat Lady' from Hoagie Heaven in Princeton!

Chow and Chatter: Thanks, Rebecca! I have a long history with burgers, my dad used to manage a Mickey Ds :)

Heavenly Housewife: Was hardly a challenge for an onion ring expert like myself lol! The onion rings were so huge hubby ate them with a knife and fork :D

OMG now I totally miss Red Robin! We used to go there all the time cuz it was right down the street. I always loved the retro feel of the place and those burgers all look amazingly yummy!

oh my gosh, that just spells trouble - the mozzarella sticks look evil in the burger. Genius but evil.

Giant mutant fries and a tower of onion rings? I'll be on a plane forthwith to check these things out!

Cookie: Red Robin is definitely a nostalgic thing for me too. Started going there in my teens and thought it was the coolest place :)

OysterCulture: You got me started with this 'mozzarella sticks on a sandwich thing' after you sent me that link for the 'phat lady' at Hoagie Heaven. Actually, I'm starting to resemble a 'phat lady' LOL!

Daily Spud: Let me know when you're coming! If you're lucky I might actually share my tower of onion rings with you :D

Teanna: My inner piggy took over when I saw the promotional sign for the wise guy burger :) Hope you get to try it before it's gone!

ooh I'd go just for the tower of onion rings! That looks worth the guilt...

Phyllis said...

foodhoe: Up till recently I never ordered the tower of rings because the burgers were already so filling. But now I have to get them everytime, they also come with the best ranch dipping sauce :)

You could kill someone with that fry (and I don't mean by coronary artery disease)! Love how you had the co-jones to try the Wise Guy Burger - that's our Phyllis! 8-D

*jaw drops* Want my address...just go ahead and send it to me. I have only been to Red Robin once :(. Back in Florida near the Tampa Bay stadium. A bunch of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were there. My dad introduced me to some of them because he knew them from where he worked. They were super nice. Its the best memory of my dad and I.

Thank you for the welcome back!

Hot dang! I used to love Red Robin's mozzarella sticks as a child (that and chicken fingers). I'm so happy to hear about this invention, can't wait to try it. My mouth is watering...
