Hmmm...Kind of looks like a candy. I guess I know what I'm craving right now. But I have no guess. I'll had ve to agree with what everyone else says it is. hehe...

I was going to say persimmon as well, but I've seen dried persimmons before and they're flat and kind of grayish brown in color.
Must be some kind of candied fruit, though. Kumquat?
Bring back the turdaroon.
